Re: HURRICANE SEASON DISASTER PLAN FOR CJ Hester Inc.

Dear Valued Customer of CJ Hester Inc:

Hurricane season is upon us and so until November 30, 2011 we will be on alert for any storms which could affect the Mobile area or any one of our other 8 offices in Alabama, Mississippi, Florida Panhandle, SW Georgia and greater New Orleans area; Mobile, Dothan, Montgomery, Birmingham, Huntsville, Florence, Gulfport/Biloxi, Jackson and Tupelo. CJ Hester Inc does have an in place disaster plan if needed. We are as dedicated to handling your claims during a disaster as we are on a day to day basis, under normal conditions. We want you to be able to contact us during a time of disaster. As adjusters we know the importance of communication and that is paramount to us during times of disaster. You are important to us and we are prepared and ready to handle your claims should disaster hit.

Mobile is our command center (remember we have 8 other locations) for all offices of CJ Hester Inc, where all claims are processed and most are received, either via fax (877-342-4116) or internet (chester@hesterinc.net or vwarr@hesterinc.net) . In the event of a power outage, caused by a storm, which does not involve structural damages to our building, we will be operating on generator power that will run our phones and fax machine. We are at the mercy of AT&T for DSL so internet capabilities may be down therefore we would ask that in the event of a power outage in Mobile, if you normally send your assignments to us via internet please fax (877-342-4116) them to us until our power is restored or you are redirected as to where and how to send new assignments. By sending them via fax they will automatically be rerouted to another office, via call forwarding capabilities.

In the event our office building is damaged, you will be directed either by our website (www.hesterinc.net) or by calling our toll free number (877-342-4111) as to which office we will be operating from. CJ Hester Inc has offsite backup of all of our data so please do not be concerned about any claim data we have stored for you, it will be protected. From past experiences with storm events, my cell phone has worked so please try my cell phone (251-401-5713) as I will always be happy to personally speak with you about the status of our operations.

We are constantly updating, reviewing and improving our website to better serve and inform you, our valued customer. Please visit our website often and watch our scrolling updates. We are exploring implementing a blog which can be updated off site in the event we are not operational at any time. This would direct you should we go in to disaster mode. So please look for changes and updates as this hurricane season progresses.
